The Cottage at Nature's Edge

The location was exactly as listed. It was cozy, remote and private. All amenities were as listed. It was the perfect stay to go along with our 3 day hike on the Appalachan Trail in Shenandoah National Park. Communication with the host was excellent and the check in was great.

Great stay just make sure you have a good car! Positive: Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful home with so many things already there for you, like pots and pans. It was so cute and everything was in great condition. Negative: The only thing that I could say I didn’t like was the driveway. It’s pretty steep with loose gravel and was hard to get up in a 2WD car. There are potholes on the way up so if your car is super low I would say that it may not get up.

It was AWESOME. Positive: It was a gorgeous location, we enjoyed the cozy cottage. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a bit. The only thing I wish we did differently was to stay longer. Negative: Everything was good. Nothing was bad.

Perfect location! Positive: Peaceful and still close to everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was secluded and peaceful. Nicely marked short loop trail on the property. Had everything we needed (even hairbands - thank you!). The hot tub was great! We did a day of hiking in Shenandoah park, beautiful drive to and from the cabin.
